Fundraiser
We’re looking for a strategic, values-driven Fundraiser to join the Wollstonecraft Society. If you believe in gender equality, human rights, and the power of feminist organising—and you have the fundraising expertise to match—this could be the perfect role for you. We are a small but growing organisation with bold ambitions. Our mission is rooted in the legacy of Mary Wollstonecraft, and our work today is about advancing the causes she championed: education, equality, and the rights of women and girls everywhere.
About the Role
This is not your average fundraising post. It’s a strategic, high-impact role for someone who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. You’ll report directly to the Head of the Board of Trustees and work closely with our Programme Development Manager and Chair. Together, you’ll shape the fundraising strategy that powers our five-year growth plan—from cultivating donors and building relationships with funders, to writing compelling bids and tracking new opportunities. You won’t just be securing income. You’ll be helping us grow as an organisation: shaping future roles, advising on financial viability, and influencing at board level.
Who We’re Looking For
-
You have a proven track record of securing five-figure grants and a strong understanding of the UK funding landscape. You’re detail-oriented, an excellent writer, and comfortable working independently in a small team.
-
But more than that—you’re motivated by feminist values. You care about human rights. And you want your work to make a real, lasting difference.
-
Whether you’ve worked in feminist organisations before or are simply aligned with our mission, we want to hear from you.
Why Join Us?
-
A three-year funded role with real scope for long-term impact
-
Direct access to and influence with the Board of Trustees
-
Flexible working and a supportive, values-driven culture
-
The chance to help shape a growing charity at a pivotal moment
