The WS aims to carry Wollstonecraft’s legacy of human rights and equality into the lives of people who don’t know her work. Its goals are to increase awareness of her legacy, and inspire community engagement. We will deliver these goals via:

  • Educational materials, free for schools, readily accessible and fully integrated into KS1 and KS2 requirements. Necessarily these will evolve so that they meet new OFSTED requirements.

  • Speaking events in communities and schools, conveying the excitement of her extraordinary life story and huge achievements.

  • Annual award of the Wollstonecraft Prize for Political Engagement. This calls for engagement with a number of schools and the identification of suitable candidates for a shortlist.
