On 28 April 2025, the University of Westminster welcomed guests to the Regent Street Cinema for the annual Wollstonecraft Society Lecture, focusing on the pressing issue of online misogyny and extremism. The event featured a compelling conversation between Laura Bates, author and founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, and Gemma Cairney, award-winning broadcaster and women's rights advocate. Together, they addressed the rise of the 'manosphere' and its impact on human rights and equality.
