AMARTYA SEN

Nobel Laureate Professor Amartya Sen is a renowned scholar of equality and justice, whose awards include Bharat Ratna (India); Commandeur de la Legion d’Honneur (France); the National Humanities Medal (USA); Ordem do Merito Cientifico (Brazil); Honorary Companion of Honour (UK); the Aztec Eagle (Mexico); the Edinburgh Medal (UK); and the Nobel Prize in Economics.

LYNNE BERRY

Professor Lynne Berry CBE is Chair of the Human Tissue Authority; Chair and Pro Chancellor of the University of Westminster and until recently Chair of Sustrans and a Trustee of Welsh National Opera. She has been a government advisor on equality, women’s rights, health and social care, and better regulation. 


FIONA WOOLF

Fiona Woolf DBE was Lord Mayor of London in 2013/14, promoting the UK-based services sector, diversity, inclusion and sustainability. She was awarded a CBE for her contribution to the UK knowledge economy and invisible earnings and a DBE for services to the law, diversity and inclusion and the City of London. A lawyer who has worked in over 40 jurisdictions, Dame Fiona is also a member of 11 City Livery Companies and has been Master of four of them. She was President of the Law Society of England and Wales in 2006/7 and a Trustee of the Science Museum from 2015-2022.

ROBERTA WEDGE

Roberta Wedge worked with Newington Green Unitarian Church to win its £1.8m National Lottery Heritage Fund bid: “Uncovering the Dissenters’ Legacy at the Birthplace of Feminism.” She campaigned with Mary on the Green from its inception, and gives expert Wollstonecraft walks and talks, from the Bloomsbury Festival to symposia abroad.
